Description
Tribio Antigen Retrieval Tris-EDTA Solution (10×, pH 9.0) is a concentrated buffer formulation used for heat-induced epitope retrieval (HIER) in formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissue sections. The alkaline Tris-EDTA buffer effectively breaks protein cross-links formed during formalin fixation, restoring antigenicity and improving antibody binding during immunohistochemistry (IHC) and immunofluorescence (IF) assays. The solution is supplied as a 10× stock and should be diluted to working concentration prior to use.
