Applications

RUNX1 inhibitor

Functions

Identified in a screen for inhibitors of the RUNX1-CBFβ interaction. It represses RUNX1/CBFB-dependent transactivation in reporter assays and runx1-dependent hematopoiesis in zebrafish embryos. Ro 5-3335 slows disease progression in various models including acute kidney injury, acute myocardial infarction and osteoarthritis among others. It synergizes with an HDAC inhibitor enhancing the activation of latent HIV-1 in both cell lines and patient PBMCs.

Application Procedures

First dissolved in DMSO (25 mg/ml), then diluted to aqueous buffer. Solutions in DMSO may be stored at -20°C for up to 2 months.
