Metabolite of Loratidine

Functions

Dicloretadine alleviates sneezing, nose rubbing, tearing, and congestion caused by ovalbumin in guinea pigs sensitized to it. Additionally, it is used to relieve symptoms of both seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis. Desloratadine is also employed for the symptomatic treatment of itching and hives associated with chronic idiopathic urticaria.

Application Procedures

First dissolved in DMF (30 mg/ml), DMSO (10 mg/ml), Ethanol (30 mg/ml), then diluted to aqueous buffer. Solutions in DMF, DMSO or ethanol may be stored at -20°C for up to one day.
