Applications

PKD inhibitor

 

Functions

Potent and selective ATP-competitive inhibitor of protein kinase D (PKD).  IC50=3.2, 0.6 and 0.7 μM for PKD1, 2 and 3 respectively. Inhibits phorbol ester-induced PKD activation in LNCaP prostate cancer cells.  Cell permeable.

 

Application Procedures

First dissolved in DMSO (up to 50 mg/ml) or in Ethanol (up to 8 mg/ml with warming), then diluted to aqueous buffer. Solutions in DMSO or ethanol may be stored at -20° for up to 3 months.
