Potent and selective K2P3.1 blocker

Functions

Potent and selective blocker of the two-pore domain potassium channels K_2P3.1 (TASK-1; IC₅₀ = 7 nM) and K_2P9.1 (TASK-3; IC₅₀ = 70 nM). It stimulated breathing in isoflurane-anesthetized rats.

Application Procedures

First dissolved in DMSO (25 mg/ml), then diluted to aqueous buffer. Solutions in DMSO may be stored at -20°C for up to 3 months.
