Description
Tribioscience in vivo Anti‑Human TGFA/TGF‑alpha Antibody is a monoclonal antibody that specifically targets human Transforming Growth Factor alpha (TGFA), which is a growth factor that binds the EGFR receptor to drive cell proliferation and signaling. TGFA is heavily studied in cancer biology because it is frequently overexpressed in multiple tumor types (including lung, pancreatic, cervical, gastrointestinal, and others), where it promotes tumor cell proliferation, invasion, and poor prognosis, and is being explored as a therapeutic target (e.g., antibody‑drug conjugates against TGF‑α showing antitumor activity) or as a biomarker for cancer progression. High TGFA expression has been correlated with tumor growth, epithelial‑mesenchymal transition (EMT) and activation of oncogenic pathways, and its modulation impacts cancer cell behaviors and patient outcomes in diseases such as non‑small cell lung cancer, pancreatic adenocarcinoma, and cervical cancer
