Description
Description: CD47 is a widely expressed transmembrane protein belonging to the immunoglobulin superfamily. It is found on various hematopoietic cells—including T cells, B cells, monocytes, platelets, and erythrocytes—as well as on non-hematopoietic cells such as epithelial, endothelial, fibroblast, and neural cells. Additionally, CD47 is a component of the Rh complex on red blood cells and is essential for proper immune regulation and host defense, making it a significant target in immunotherapy and diagnostic research.
