Description
Description: CD34 is a transmembrane glycoprotein, with a molecular weight of approximately 105–120 kDa. It is a type I sialomucin-like glycophosphoprotein primarily expressed on hematopoietic stem and progenitor cells, as well as on endothelial cells, bone marrow stromal cells, embryonic fibroblasts, and certain nervous tissue cells. CD34 is a pivotal molecule in hematopoiesis, cell adhesion, and tissue regeneration, with significant implications for both basic biology and clinical therapies.
