Functions

Triggers cardiac mRNA and protein expression in a variety of embryonic and adult stem/progenitor cells including human mobilized peripheral blood mononuclear cells (M-PBMC).  A lead compound for the discovery of drugs which promote myocardial repair/regeneration by activating cardiac differentiation in M-PBMC.  Cell permeable.

Application Procedures

First dissolved in DMSO (up to 5 mg/ml), then diluted to aqueous buffer. Solutions in DMSO may be stored at -20° for up to 1 month.
