Functions

ML418 is a blocker of the inward rectifier potassium channels Kir7.1 (IC50 = 310nM) and Kir6.2 (equipotent) with metabolic and pharmacokinetic parameters suitable for in vivo research. Greater than 23-fold selectivity over Kir1.1, Kir2.1, Kir2.2, Kir2.3, Kir4.1.

 

Application Procedures

First dissolved in DMSO (8 mg/ml), then diluted to aqueous buffer. Solutions in DMSO may be stored at -20°C for up to 3 months.
