Applications
Tankyrase inhibitor
Functions
A potent inhibitor of Wnt signaling (IC50=180 nM). Inhibits zebrafish tailfin regeneration (0.5 mM). Acts via inhibition of tankyrase and attenuates wnt/β-catenin signaling in cancer stem-like cells. Promotes self-renewal and maintains pluripotency of human embryonic stem cells. Promotes differentiation of pluripotent stem cells into cardiomyocytes.
Application Procedures
First dissolved in DMSO (up to at least 10 mg/ml), then diluted to aqueous buffer. Solutions in DMSO may be stored at -20°C for up to 3 months.
