Applications

PAD4 inhibitor

Functions

Potent (IC₅₀ = 50 nM) and selective inhibitor of protein arginine deiminase (PAD4). It blocks neutrophil extracellular trap formation in human neutrophils. Abrogates thrombus formation on heparin-induced thrombocytopenia/thrombosis. It protected against reperfusion injury in both stroke and cardiac models.  GSK484 attenuated tumor cell stemness in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma. It prevented surgery-induced tumor recurrence via inhibition of neutrophil extracellular trap-induced reprogramming of cancer cell metabolism.

Application Procedures

First dissolved in DMSO (25 mg/ml) or water (5 mg/ml with warming), then diluted to aqueous buffer. Solutions in DMSO or water may be stored at -20°C for up to 1 month.
