Functions

A potent and selective, cell permeable inhibitor of γ-secretase that inhibits the cleavage of both amyloid precursor protein and Notch, IC₅₀s ~ 3 nM. Inhibits growth and induces differentiation of neuroblastoma cells. Induces stem cell neuronal differentiation.

Application Procedures

First dissolved in DMSO (up to 25 mg/ml), then diluted to aqueous buffer. Solutions in DMSO may be stored at -20°C for up to 2 months.
