Functions

1-O-Acetylbritannilactone is a natural product with anti-inflammatory and anti-allergic properties that is extracted from the flowers of Inula japonica and Inula britannica. It inhibits angiogenesis and lung cancer cell growth via regulation of VEGF signaling. 1-O-acetylbritannilactone suppressed microglial activation by regulating inflammation and autophagy to ameliorate LPS-mediated neuroinflammation via targeting of PDZ binding kinase (PBK).

Application Procedures

First dissolved in DMSO (at least 25 mg/ml), then diluted to aqueous buffer. Solutions in DMSO may be stored at -20°C for up to 3 months.
