Description
Tribioscience in vivo Anti‑Human CLDN3/Claudin‑3 Antibody (CDN04) is a mouse‑derived monoclonal antibody (IgG2a, κ) that specifically binds to the human tight‑junction protein Claudin‑3 (also known by aliases such as CPE‑R2, hRVP1, C7orf1, and the Clostridium perfringens enterotoxin receptor 2), a four‑transmembrane domain molecule critical for epithelial cell–cell adhesion and barrier function. This reagent is supplied for neutralization applications and is validated for reactivity with human Claudin‑3, making it suitable for functional studies aimed at blocking Claudin‑3 activity in vitro. Claudin‑3 is widely studied in epithelial biology and oncology, as its expression is frequently upregulated in a range of carcinomas including ovarian, breast, colorectal, pancreatic, prostate, and other epithelial cancers, and is explored as both a biomarker and therapeutic target due to its altered expression and accessibility during tumorigenesis.
