Description
Description: CD8β is a chain that forms part of the CD8 co-receptor on T cells, specifically in a heterodimeric form with CD8α. The CD8 antigen acts as a coreceptor with the T-cell receptor (TCR) to recognize antigens presented by class I MHC molecules on antigen-presenting cells.
