Applications

GSK-3ß inhibitor

Functions

Potent inhibitor of GSK-3ß (IC₅₀ = 30 nM). At higher concentrations (400 nM), it induces neurogenesis in mouse embryonic stem cells. It maintained hepatic stellate cells in the quiescent state. TWS119 treatment increased the amount of stem cell-like memory CD8+ T cells, enhanced metabolic fitness of CD8+ T cells, and prevented CD8+ differentiation. It displayed neuroprotective effects in models of cerebral ischemia. TWS119 greatly increased the efficacy of NK cells against myeloma.

Application Procedures

First dissolved in DMSO (up to at least 30 mg/ml), then diluted to aqueous buffer. Solutions in DMSO may be stored at -20°C for up to 2 months.
