Description
The paraformaldehyde (PFA)-Picric Acid Solution in PBS (Bouin’s Fixative) is a high-quality, methanol-free solution formulated in PBS that contains 4% PFA and picric acid. This fixative has been proven to better preserve morphology and antigenicity in general compared to phosphate-buffered 4% paraformaldehyde.
It can be used as a tissue or cell fixative in IHC and ISH and as a reversible amine-crosslinking agent for protein and nucleic acid tissue samples.
