Description
Reduced-Serum Medium is a modified version of Minimal Essential Medium (MEM) formulated to reduce the requirement for Fetal Bovine Serum (FBS) supplementation by at least 50%, while maintaining normal cell growth and morphology. It is also well-suited for applications involving cationic lipid transfection reagents. This versatile medium supports the culture of various suspension and adherent mammalian cell lines, such as Sp2, AE-1, CHO, BHK-21, HEK, and primary fibroblasts.
