Description
Ham’s F-12K (Kaighn’s) medium is a modification of Ham’s F12 with increased concentrations of amino acids, and pyruvate as well as modified salts. This medium is designed to support the growth of differentiated primary cells like rat and chicken cells, and primary human liver cells.
This medium can be supplemented with FBS for supporting a variety of cell growths. The FBS concentration in the medium should be adjusted based on the cell lines.
