Description
Dulbecco’s Modified Eagle’s Medium/Ham’s Nutrient Mixture F-12 (DMEM/F-12) is a 1:1 mixture of DMEM and Ham’s F-12. The combination of DMEM’s high concentration of amino acids, vitamins, and glucose, is enriched with Ham’s Nutrient Mixture F-12’s additional components including HEPES, sodium pyruvate, glutamine, and glucose.
DMEM/F-12 is widely used for supporting the growth of many different mammalian cells including MDCK, glial cells, fibroblasts, human endothelial cells, and rat fibroblasts.

The DMEM part works fine but our CHO cells struggled. I would recommend going with a straight Ham’s F12/F12k formula if you know that’s what you want
