Tribio Citrate Phosphate Buffer, commonly known as McIlvaine Buffer, is a widely used buffer system prepared from citric acid and disodium phosphate. It provides excellent buffering capacity in the acidic pH range and is especially suitable for maintaining a stable pH of 4.0 in biochemical, microbiological, and analytical applications.
