RevErb a/b agonist

 

Functions

Agonist at nuclear receptor Rev-ErbA. Greatly diminishes VILI-induced lung edema, inflammatory cell infiltration and TNFα production in a rat lung injury model. Suppresses atherosclerosis in a mouse model.

 

Application Procedures

First dissolved in DMSO (greater than 25 mg/ml) or in Ethanol (up to 20 mg/ml), then diluted to aqueous buffer. Solutions in DMSO or ethanol may be stored at -20°C for up to 1 month.
