Applications

Plasma kallikrein inhibitor (selective)

 

Functions

Selective inhibitor of plasma kallikrein (PLK) (Ki = 0.81 µM) that attenuates arthritis and renal damage in rats with adjuvant-induced arthritis. Its combination with NO donor GSNO in blood samples led to strong platelet inhibition and thrombolysis. Blocked PLK-dependent TGF-β activation and significantly reduced hepatic apoptosis and mortality in a mouse model of acute liver injury.

 

Application Procedures

First dissolved in Water (up to 5 mg/ml), then diluted to aqueous buffer. Solutions in water may be stored at -20°C for up to 3 months.
