LOXL2 inhibitor

Functions

Potent (IC₅₀ = 710 nM) inhibitor of LOXL2, a copper-dependent amine oxidase that deaminates lysine and hydroxylysine residues in collagen and elastin. It displayed >400-fold selectivity over LOX as well as high selectivity against the related amine oxidases SSAO, DAO, and MAO-A/B.  A potential new therapeutic for the treatment of fibrotic diseases.

Application Procedures

First dissolved in DMSO (>50 mg/ml); or Water (>80 mg/mL), then diluted to aqueous buffer. Solutions in DMSO may be stored at -20°C for up to 3 months.
