Applications

Potent and selective PRMT5 inhibitor

 

Functions

Potent (IC50 = 22 nM) and selective inhibitor of arginine methyltransferase 5 (PRMT5). PRMT5 dimethylates Myc, and its inhibition by EPZ015666 suppresses cell growth and induces apoptosis and/or cell cycle arrest in medulloblastoma and retinoblastoma cells. It also sensitizes glioblastoma cells to mTOR inhibitor PP2426.

 

Application Procedures

First dissolved in DMSO (up to 20 mg/ml), then diluted to aqueous buffer. Solutions in DMSO may be stored at -20°C for up to 3 months.
