Functions

Daidzein is used as an antineoplastic agent, a phytoestrogen, a plant metabolite, an alpha-glucosidase (EC 3.2.1.20) inhibitor, and a DNA-directed DNA polymerase (EC 2.7.7.7) inhibitor.

Application Procedures

First dissolved in DMF (10 mg/ml), DMSO (30 mg/ml) or Ethanol (0.1 mg/ml), then diluted to aqueous buffer. Solutions in DMF, DMSO or ethanol may be stored at -20°C for up to 3 months.
