Ca2+-activated chloride channel blocker

 

Functions

A calcium-activated chloride channel (TMEM16; CaCC) blocker. Inhibits ATP-induced mucin secretion and metacholine-induced airway smooth muscle contraction. A uricosuric agent which potently inhibits the urate anion transporter.

 

Application Procedures

First dissolved in DMSO (up to 20 mg/ml), then diluted to aqueous buffer. Solutions in water may be stored at -20°C for up to 3 months.
