HIF-2α inhibitor

Functions

A potent hypoxia-inducible factor 2α (HIF-2α) inhibitor (IC₅₀ = 9 nM). Active in vivo in mouse and human studies of renal cell and non-renal cell carcinoma associated with VHL disease. An important toll for modulating the hypoxic tumor microenvironment. FDA approved for the treatment of von Hippel-Lindau associated diseases.

Application Procedures

First dissolved in DMSO (up to at least 25 mg/ml), then diluted to aqueous buffer. Solutions in DMSO may be stored at -20°C for up to 3 months.
