Description
InVivoMAb Anti-Human Cluster of Differentiation 279 (CD279) antibody is a fully human monoclonal antibody targeting Programmed Cell Death Protein 1 (PD-1), isolated from the synthetic AMG phage display library. It binds a novel epitope on PD-1 and induces an unusual conformational change at the receptor’s N-terminus. Despite limited overlap with the natural ligand-binding site, CD279 effectively blocks PD-1 interaction with Programmed Death-Ligand 1 (PD-L1) and Programmed Death-Ligand 2 (PD-L2) through steric hindrance. The antibody shows high-affinity binding, recognizes PD-1 on activated human T cells, and cross-reacts with Cynomolgus monkey PD-1.
