Description
Description: CD3 is a 20 kDa transmembrane cell-surface protein that belongs to the immunoglobulin superfamily. It is a part of the T cell receptor (TCR) complex, which is crucial for T cell development and activation. CD3 is expressed on T lymphocytes, NK-T cells, and, to varying degrees, on developing thymocytes.
Applications:
- in vitro T cell stimulation/activation
- in vivo T cell depletion in humanized mice
- ex vivo T cell inhibition for xenografts
