Description
Description: IL-4Rα is a critical component of the receptor complexes for both IL-4 and IL-13, playing a significant role in immune system modulation. IL-4Rα is expressed on various cell types, including T helper type 2 (Th2) cells, mast cells, basophils, eosinophils, macrophages, dendritic cells, and endothelial cells. IL-4Rα is implicated in various conditions, including asthma, atopic dermatitis, and certain cancers. Therapeutic strategies targeting IL-4Rα, such as Dupilumab, have been developed.
