Description: IFNAR-1 is a critical component of the type I interferon receptor complex, partnering with IFNAR2 to mediate cellular responses to interferons such as IFN-α and IFN-β. This receptor is ubiquitously expressed across human tissues, including various immune cells. IFNAR1 influences the activity of immune cells like natural killer (NK) cells and neutrophils, affecting processes such as cell maturation, cytokine production, and T-cell activation.
