Description
Description:Tumor-associated glycoproteins (TAGs) are glycoproteins that are overexpressed or aberrantly glycosylated in tumor cells compared to normal cells. TAG-72 is a well-studied tumor-associated glycoprotein overexpressed in various carcinomas, including colorectal, ovarian, breast, gastric, and pancreatic cancers. Tumor-associated glycoproteins can be targeted for cancer immunotherapy, as they present unique epitopes capable of eliciting immune responses.
