Description: Lymphotoxin alpha (LT-α) is a proinflammatory cytokine belonging to the tumor necrosis factor (TNF) superfamily, with a broad spectrum of immunological activities. Polymorphisms in the LT-α gene have been associated with various diseases, including autoimmune conditions and cancers.
