Description

Lactobacillus reuteri is a species of gram-positive, rod-shaped probiotic bacterium that naturally lives in the digestive tract of humans and animals. Its detection is critical for probiotic research, microbiome studies and product quality control. Tribioscience Lactobacillus reuteri qPCR Detection Kit is specifically used to detect Lactobacillus reuteri species in a single real-time quantitative PCR (qPCR) reaction using fluorescent probes. Detection of the target DNA confirms ingredient authenticity and helps prevent food fraud.

PRINCIPLE

The kit is based on probe real-time qPCR technology, which amplifies specific gene sequence of Lactobacillus reuteri. The target-specific fluorescent probe bind to the amplified PCR products, and as the products accumulate, the fluorescence signal is increased in PCR amplification. By monitoring fluorescence intensity in real time, the kit allows quantitative detection of the target DNA during PCR amplification, providing rapid and accurate results.
