Tribo™ Goat QPCR (TBS42002)
$198.00 – $396.00
The Goat QPCR Kit is designed for the target-DNA specific detection of goat matter in food and animal feed ingredients. The assay uses a real-time PCR-based protocol with fluoresce-probe to detect target DNA. It can detect as few as 10 copies of the target DNA in a reaction and it exhibits high specificity for goat.

Description
The Goat QPCR Kit is designed for the target-DNA specific detection of goat matter in food and animal feed ingredients. The assay uses a real-time PCR-based protocol with fluoresce-probe to detect target DNA. It can detect a few copies of the target DNA in a reaction and it exhibits high specificity for goats (Fig.1 and Table 1. No cross reactivity is observed with other animal species (See Table 2). The detection of target DNA confirms ingredient authenticity or prevents food fraud, ethical issues, or health concerns.
Applications
Detect goat-derived DNA in food and animal feed.
Key Features
- Highly sensitive and specificity for goat derived DNA.
- High efficiency: the optimal systemic conditions for PCR amplifications.
- Streamlined protocol: Just add DNA Template and water.
- No cross reactivity with other species
Storage Conditions
The kit is shipped on ice. All components should be stored at -20°C in a non-frost-free freezer. Shelf life is 12 months after receiving.

The kit works really well, it’s easy to use with its streamlined protocol, and had no issues detecting small concentrations of goat-DNA.
