It is oftentimes necessary to manipulate mouse embryos at prolonged time intervals at an ambient temperature outside the CO2, incubator. The cells are then returned to the incubator for growth. Using the correct medium can spell success or failure. M2 and HTF (Human Tubal Fluid) media are both formulated for man / pulsating embryos outside CO2, incubator.
