Description
Focused Lung Cancer NGS Panel & FFPE-Direct DNA Library Prep Kit for Ion Torrent is designed for targeted NGS analysis of approximately 3,100 NSCLC-associated mutations across eight genes: EGFR, KRAS, BRAF, NRAS, PIK3CA, PDGFRA, KIT, and ALK.
The streamlined workflow enables direct library preparation from 5–15 µm FFPE tissue sections and cytology smears without separate DNA extraction or purification and also supports 10 ng of genomic DNA. The optimized two-pool design contains 26 primer pairs per pool and is designed for sensitive mutation detection.
The approximately 3.5-hour workflow combines optimized primer design and library preparation reagents to reduce primer-related artifacts and support sensitive and specific targeted sequencing.
