VEGFR inhibitor

Functions

ATP-competitive inhibitor of VEGFR2 (IC₅₀ = <1 nM) which also potently inhibits PDGFR1, VEGFR3, VEGFR1, c-Kit, PDGFR2 and FGFR1 (IC50s =2, 3, 5, 5, 26 and 36 nM). As an oral anti-angiogenic agent, it has shown promise in various cancers, either alone or in combination with a PARP inhibitor. Cediranib enhances MHC-1 by upregulating IRF-1, enhancing responsiveness to immune therapy.

Application Procedures

First dissolved in DMSO (up to 20 mg/ml), then diluted to aqueous buffer. Solutions in DMSO may be stored at -20°C for up to 3 months.
