Applications

TGFβ inhibitor

Functions

Selective inhibitor of TGFβ signaling (IC₅₀=0.85 µM). Induces proteasomal degradation of TGFβ type II receptor. Induces cardiomyocyte differentiation in embryonic stem cells.

Application Procedures

First dissolved in DMSO (up to 8 mg/ml) or in Ethanol (up to 4 mg/ml, warm), then diluted to aqueous buffer. Solutions in DMSO or ethanol may be stored at -20°C for up to 3 months.
