Actin-binding agent

Functions

Bicyclic heptapeptide that binds to filamentous actin, promoting and stabilizing polymerization. Reverses actin destabilization by cytochalasin B², and modifies branch formation / deformation mediated by Arp2/3 complex. Immobilized phalloidin can be used for biochemical isolation of F-actin and F-actin binding proteins.

Application Procedures

First dissolved in Water (up to 1 mg/ml), then diluted to aqueous buffer. Solutions in water may be stored at -20°C for up to 3 months.
