Functions

A CRBN-based PROTAC degrader that recruits the cereblon-containing E3 ubiquitin ligase to direct the proteasomal degradation of the Stimulator of Interferon Genes (STING). This degrader was designed by coupling C-170, a small molecule STING inhibitor with pomalidomide via a C-6 linker. It selectively degrades STING with a DC₅₀=3.2 uM. It displays antiinflammatory activity in a cisplatin-induced acute kidney injury mouse model. Caution: May be teratogenic. Pregnant women should avoid all contact with this substance.

Application Procedures

First dissolved in DMSO (25 mg/ml), then diluted to aqueous buffer. Solutions in DMSO may be stored at -20°C for up to 2 months.
