H+/K+ATPase inhibitor

 

Functions

H+,K+-ATPase inhibitor (IC₅₀ = 5.8 μM). Clinically useful antisecretory and antiulcer agent. Potent inhibitor of CYP2C19 (Ki=3.1 mM). Inhibits swelling-dependent chloride channels. Facilitates oral bioavailability of bioactive peptides such as oxytocin by raising stomach pH. Displays broad spectrum antiviral activity. Enhances efficacy of remdesivir (10-fold).

 

Application Procedures

First dissolved in DMSO (up to 30 mg/ml) or in Ethanol (up to 5 mg/ml), then diluted to aqueous buffer. Solutions in DMSO may be stored at -20°C for up to 1 month.
