Functions

Oseltamivir phosphate (204255-11-9) is a potent viral neuraminidase inhibitor and a clinically useful treatment for influenzas A and B. Oseltamivir is a prodrug that is converted to the active acid in vivo – IC50 for active acid in vitro = 2 nM.

 

Application Procedures

First dissolved in DMSO (40 mg/ml); water (>40 mg/mL), then diluted to aqueous buffer. Solutions in DMSO or distilled water may be stored at -20° for up to 3 months.
