Functions

A ROCK inhibitor. Dramatically improves (200-fold) the efficiency of induced pluripotent stem cell generation from human fibroblasts.  Induces direct conversion of porcine embryonic fibroblasts into adipocytes. Improves survival of single hESCs on matrigel-coated plates after enzymatic dissociation (more than 30-fold). Cell permeable.

 

Application Procedures

First dissolved in DMSO (up to 30 mg/ml), then diluted to aqueous buffer. Solutions in DMSO may be stored at -20°C for up to 2 months.
