Applications

Angiotensin II type II antagonist

 

Functions

Potent (IC50 = 34 nM) and selective non-peptide angiotensin II type 2 (AT2) antagonist. Ameliorated symptoms of 2,4-dinitrobenzenesulfonic-induced colitis in rats via inhibition of NF-kB activation. PD123319 displayed protective effects in ischemia-reperfusion injury and oxidative damage in rat hearts.

 

Application Procedures

First dissolved in DMSO (up to 25 mg/ml) or Water (up to 25 mg/ml), then diluted to aqueous buffer. Solutions in DMSO or water may be stored at -20°C for up to 1 month.
