Tribioscience’s Ready-to-use XTT Cell Viability Assay offers a streamlined and efficient solution for researchers assessing cell metabolic activity. The XTT assay operates by measuring mitochondrial dehydrogenase activity in live cells. Once the XTT Reagent is activated, it is metabolized by viable cells into a water-soluble, orange-colored formazan product, which can be quantified directly using a standard spectrophotometer at 450 nm. Tribioscience’s kit includes sufficient reagents for up to 500 or 1000 tests, featuring a straightforward protocol that enables rapid and reproducible results without the need for additional solubilization steps.
