The Ready-to-use ADP Colorimetric/Fluorometric Assay Kit (TBS2020) from Tribioscience streamlines your experimental workflow by providing pre-optimized reagents designed for rapid and reliable quantification of adenosine diphosphate (ADP) in biological samples. This kit simplifies the assay process by converting ADP into ATP and pyruvate, with the resulting pyruvate quantified either colorimetrically at 570 nm or fluorometrically at Ex/Em 530/590 nm. The straightforward “load and incubate” protocol requires less than 60 minutes to complete, eliminating the need for complex preparation steps and reducing hands-on time.

Designed for sensitivity and accuracy, the kit can detect ADP concentrations as low as 1 µM using minimal sample volumes of just 10 µL. It offers a broad detection range from 1 to 1000 µM, making it suitable for various applications, including direct assays of ADP in cells and other biological samples. The assay’s high-throughput adaptability allows for efficient processing of multiple samples in a 96-well plate format, catering to the needs of both small-scale studies and large-scale screenings.

The kit includes all necessary components for 100 tests: ADP Assay Buffer, Probe, Substrate, Enzyme Mix, and a 50 mM ADP standard. For optimal performance, the kit should be stored at -20°C, with a shelf life of three months. Before use, all components—except the enzyme—should be warmed to room temperature, and small vials should be briefly centrifuged prior to opening.
