Hsp70 inhibitor

 

Functions

Selectively interacts with HSP70 and disrupts its association with co-chaperones and substrate proteins.  Inhibits p53 binding to antiapoptotic proteins Bcl-xL and Bcl-2.  Recues primary mouse thymocytes from P53-mediated apoptosis induced by radiation.  Cell permeable.

 

Application Procedures

First dissolved in DMSO (up to 20 mg/ml) or in Ethanol (up to 20 mg/ml), then diluted to aqueous buffer. Solutions in DMSO or ethanol may be stored at -20°C for up to 3 months.
